Over a number years, church leaders in Cheltenham have found increasing friendships across our denominations and networks. In 2017 a small number of those relationships coalesced as the leaders from St Paul’s, Godfirst, Trinity, Grace, Elim, St Matthew’s, Cambray and the Salvation Army began to meet and eat together, to build supportive friendships, and pray for each other, our churches and the town.

Out of our togetherness we began to partner together in our desire to bring the love of Jesus to Cheltenham. In 2020 it became clear that God was leading us to invite churches from across the town to form a wider collective, that was separate from our leaders gathering. We decided to identify this collaboration together under the banner Love Cheltenham. Our hope is that other churches may want to join us when we act in unity as God’s church on His mission to our fabulous town.
